Wednesday is Halloween, and there is a lot that goes on here at Hygiene that day.

The PTO is sponsoring a STEAM-Inspired Pumpkin Contest!    Bring your AMAZING completed pumpkin creation to school on Wednesday morning along with a completed entry form.  There will be special prizes for Best Egyptian Pumpkin, Spookiest School Spirit, and Most Educational.  Please plan to take your pumpkin home at the end of the school day on October 31st.  If you do not wish to take your pumpkin home, then we will have compost bins on hand to recycle them.  Click here for the printable version of the entry form.

Costumes are the one of the best parts of Halloween. Please remember that students are not allowed to bring anything resembling a weapon to school as part of their costume.  We also would like students to not wear full face masks, or anything that is really scary, as it can upset our preschoolers.  Students can change into their costumes and makeup just before the parade at 2:30.

Our parade will begin at 2:30 and take place throughout the building. 

Classroom parties take place at the direction of the classroom teacher.  They will communicate that separately.
