Back to School Open House Thursday 8-31

OPEN HOUSE THURSDAY EVENING

Our annual Back to School Night is Thursday, August 31st for grades 1-5.  The first session is 5:30-6:00 and the second session is 6:15-6:55. Fifth grade will be presenting in the library.

St. Vrain Students Look to the Sky

On August 21, students across St. Vrain Valley Schools experienced the 'Great American Eclipse' through district-provided safety viewing glasses, indoor live-streaming and immersive classroom activities.

It’s not the eclipse that is dangerous to observe, it’s the sun! The sun’s visible (and invisible) rays can cause serious damage to the sensitive tissues of the eyes, often without being immediately aware of it. Normally, our common sense protects us from looking directly at the sun for more than a second.
