Hi there.  I am you friendly librarian, and I am so excited for my 5th year at Hygiene.  I grew up in Boulder, and graduated from Fairview High School.  After not recieving my letter to Hogwarts (I'm sure it was just a clerical error), I decided to go to Oz...otherwise known as the University of Kansas (go Jayhawks!).  I taught Social Studies for a few summers, then took time off to have my 3 awesome kids.  I came back to teaching at Frederick Elementary/Thunder Valley in the computer lab before coming to Hygiene.  Between kids and step kids, I have 2 remaining in SVVSD schools, and three that have graduated.  I also have 3 cats and 1 dog at home, plus two other dogs that are there part time.  That's a total of 36 feet walking through the door.  For fun I like to read, watch football, read, cook, read, watch NCAA basketball, read, play with the kids/pets, read, and I recently took up SCUBA diving. And yes, I did just change my name!  I was Ms Jarvis, now I am Ms Johnston

The library is going through many changes this year and next.  We have removed some things, added some things, and changed a lot.  Our roadmap for these changes was driven by our amazing students and our incredible school district.  There is a lot more coming soon.
