Congrats! Hygiene HAWKS!! We took 1st Place in the Summer MyOn Challenge!
Please come out tomorrow in Celebration of Public Education!
In today’s Friday folders, your child will be bringing home their Jogathon Donation Envelope. The Jogathon is Hygiene Elementary School’s ONLY fundraiser organized by the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)! The funds raised during the Jogathon make up our entire PTO budget for the year, and are used to support the students and staff of Hygiene Elementary.
These donations make a BIG impact on our students – the Hygiene PTO budget covers items that your child uses/experiences on a daily basis! Last year, Hygiene PTO was able to pay for a new sound system for the gym, new curtains for the stage, and the Gaga Pit on our playground. This year, Hygiene PTO is funding iReady licenses for every student!
Hygiene PTO also funds:
- $400 classroom supply budget for every teacher
- Assemblies
- Bussing for all field trips
- Technology for our school and classrooms
- PTO-sponsored events which are free of charge to students, families, and the community:
- Jogathon
- Fall Fest/Carnival
- STEAM Fair
- Spelling Bee
- Talent Show
- Hawk Air
Thank you for your support of our Jogathon Fun Run – because of our generous families and community, we can continue to provide amazing educational and social opportunities for our students! We are also looking for volunteers for the day.
If you are interested in participating, please sign up here.
Here is the flyer!!
