Weekly Highlights!
A beautiful evening for a Fall Fest!

want to sincerely thank our PTO and all the volunteers who made it possible. This is always a highlight for our students and can’t happen without a strong community.

Our fifth grade students experience Ameritowne!
Jogathon Prize Assembly on Wednesday was super fun for our students!

Thank you again parents for the generous donations! We are looking forward to all of our Hawks learning how to roller skate in early November as a result of reaching our goal.
Student of the Month

These students exhibit outstanding qualities of SOAR! Congratulations Hawks!
Parent Teacher Conferences are next week and the Book Fair is coming!
We’re excited to announce that the Scholastic Book Fair will be at our school starting on October 6th during conferences! The Book Fair is a wonderful opportunity for students to discover new books, build their home libraries, and share the joy of reading with their families.
Every purchase helps support our library and STEAM programs. This is how we are able to have so many great books and STEAM supplies for your students to explore. The fair will be open after school only Monday through Thursday during conferences, with shorter hours on Wednesdays. Please check out our school’s Scholastic Website for information about hours, online ordering and preorders, and EWallet – a fantastic way for your kids to shop without cash.
Every year our Book Fairy likes to visit students who need a little extra boost right now. If you would like to donate to our Book Fairy and help other students at our school, please visit our Share the Fair link.
Thank you for supporting literacy and helping us put more books in the hands of our students!

As a reminder, there is no school on Friday, October 10 and Monday, October 13th! Enjoy the 4 day weekend!

Families who believe they may qualify for free or reduced-price meals are encouraged to complete an application by Oct. 1. While all St. Vrain Valley students receive one free breakfast and one free lunch daily through Colorado’s Healthy School Meals for All program, submitting an application provides additional benefits to families such as fee waivers, college exam discounts, and reduced internet and utility costs, and also helps bring federal funding to support classrooms, after-school programs, technology, and additional meals and snacks for students. Applications are available online or at Nutrition Services, 2929 Clover Basin Dr., Longmont.
100 Mile Club is up and running andit is not too late to sign up!
