In this week’s Friday folder, you will find the flyer! This is a great family activity! Please bring your pumpkins to school the morning of October 30th.

Halloween Protocols

  • We will allow students to wear their costumes for the school day.
  • We will allow for commercially-produced, individually-wrapped Halloween treats/drinks.
  • Teachers will communicate the needs through sign ups sheets regarding classroom Halloween celebrations.  Students may bring in the party supplies the morning of Halloween.

Note: Costumes cannot create a distraction or disruption at the school, as safety is always the top priority at school. Staff must be able to recognize students; therefore, students may not wear face masks, sunglasses, fake blood, excessive face paint, and anything that covers the entire face during the school day.  For the parade and party, masks are allowed to be worn.  Weapons (real or facsimile) are also not allowed.

At 3:15, we will start our school wide Halloween parade.  The parade will be outside on the back field so that all our students have the opportunity to participate. Parents are welcome to join us in the back field.

Roller Skating is Coming to Hygiene and we need your help with permission slips!

Hygiene Opt Out Form if not interested in participating

Are you interested in Volunteering during Roller Skating?

As a reminder, every student will have four sessions of Roller Skating during PE over the course of two weeks. Sessions will take place November 3-14 in the gym, and all equipment will be provided. If your student has their own roller skates or helmet that they’d like to use, they may bring it.

We will need two (2) parent volunteers for each session to assist with putting skates on and taking them off of students. Each session is 45 minutes long. This will be a fun opportunity to get involved with your child’s class, and we encourage you to sign up at the link below!

Thanks again for your ongoing support!
