St. Vrain Valley Schools utilizes assessment data and additional data sources to identify ways to increase student achievement. The goal is to provide rich learning opportunities that engage students and prepare them for success in the 21st century. Data collected from these state-mandated exams contribute to St. Vrain Valley Schools’ comprehensive suite of tools and programs designed to enhance student achievement, promote diversified and individualized learning opportunities, identify areas of need to support early intervention, and provide valuable data that helps inform future curriculum and instructional development.
To help your student best prepare for success on these assessments, we encourage students to get a restful night’s sleep, eat breakfast, and bring a clean water bottle to school. If you have any questions about how to support your student’s success during these state assessments or have concerns about your child’s participation, please feel free to contact me directly at 720-652-8021or [email protected]. While participation is not mandatory, it is encouraged so that we can use the data to continue to improve learning and academic support for our students.
