This week in PE, our students have the opportunity to climb and climb and climb! Way to go HAWKS!

Meet the Teacher – Parent Teacher Conference Sign Up

The Spring 2025-2026 Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for following dates:

  • Monday – February 9th
  • Tuesday – February 10th
  • Thursday – February 12th

The conferences will run each day from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The window opens on Tuesday, January 20th at 8am and will close on February 1st at 4pm.

Preschool Registration is open.

Registration for St. Vrain Valley Schools’ 2026-27 preschool programs begin Dec. 9, 2025. Families can choose from high-quality, five-day programs, including half-day and select full-day options at schools across St. Vrain. The Colorado Universal Preschool (UPK) application is included in St. Vrain’s form, and families are encouraged to apply early for the best chance of placement at their preferred school.

Announcement for the 100 Mile Club starting in September, meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-9:00 AM.

Community Schools

Come Join The Hub for fun before and after school! Looking for a safe, engaging, and creative spot for your child? The Hub is the place to be! We focus on making real connections, whether it’s Hanging out with friends you already know or
making a new friend. With flexible day options, we keep the fun going until closing time at 6:00PM. Kids can dive into a rotating mix of activities, reading, science projects and math games. We have some classic board games, cool magnets, hands-on crafts, and the ever-popular Perler Beads. We also have Legos, Lincoln Logs and building with blocks. Come be creative with us!
The Registration is $50.00 for one child and $75.00 for a family with more than 1 child for the entire year. We are open from 7-9AM ($16.00). Breakfast is served at 8:45 AM. We are open from 3:45-6:00 PM in the afternoon/evening, ($20.00). Snack is provided at 3:55.

Half Year Insurance
The half year insurance fee is now available in Infinite Campus. As new students enroll, the student should automatically be assigned the DTS: 1:1 Tech Insurance S2 ONLY 12.50 fee with an expiration date of two (2) weeks. Parents have two (2) weeks to pay the fee before it is automatically voided.You may also offer the half year insurance to current students who did not opt into insurance in Fall 2025. However, you will need to inspect the iPad first to make sure it is in working condition before offering the insurance.Spring 2026 Insurance: $12.50

St. Vrain Valley Schools will host a training session for parents and families on February 4 from 4:30–6:00 p.m. at the Innovation Center. This interactive session will focus on supporting behavioral development in early childhood by exploring the root causes of behavior and practical ways to incorporate social-emotional learning (SEL) into daily routines. The session will be led by Allison Roeser, MHS, PCC, author, former educator, and leadership coach with over 20 years of experience in social-emotional learning.

All School Spelling Bee is in January!

All-School Spelling Bee – January 21, 2026

The top 5 spellers from each grade (3rd-5th) get to participate in the All-School Spelling Bee on January 21. A new word list was sent home with each of those winners to continue practicing. Extra copies are available in the office. An additional resource for studying that is available this year is the Word Club App. We will be using the Spelling Modes only (not the Vocabulary Modes).
