Message from the Principal
Dear Hygiene Elementary Community,
As we bid farewell to the 2023 year, I wanted to take a moment to extend my heartfelt wishes to each and every one of you for a joyous holiday season and a wonderful start to 2024.
Reflecting on the past few months, I am filled with immense pride as I recount the incredible accomplishments that our Hygiene community achieved this fall. Together, we demonstrated the strength of our unity and the unwavering spirit that defines us.
One of the standout moments was our Jogathon, where our community came together and raised an impressive $35,000. This remarkable achievement not only showcases our collective dedication to supporting our school but also reinforces the power of teamwork and commitment. I am so appreciative on all of you and our fantastic PTO!
Additionally, Hygiene Elementary led the district in the myOn challenge this Thanksgiving, underscoring our commitment to academic excellence. The enthusiasm and effort displayed by our students in this challenge are truly commendable and speak volumes about their passion for learning. As we go into the winter break, I am confident our students will continue to lead and we will be the top school for the myOn Winter Challenge!
Furthermore, our recent canned food drive exemplified the compassion and generosity that defines our Hygiene family. The outpouring of support from students, parents, and staff was overwhelming, making a significant impact on those in need within our community. As a district, we bought in 21,000 pounds to the Our Center. This is an unwavering level of committment and a big shout out to our student council.
Finally, I want to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm that each student brought to our school this past fall. Your commitment to excellence and community engagement has set a standard that we can all be proud of.
As we embark on the holiday season and look ahead to a new year, let us carry the spirit of unity, compassion, and achievement with us. May the coming year be filled with joy, success, and continued collaboration as we build an even brighter future for Hygiene Elementary.

The 2023-24 Yearbooks are available to order. They won’t be distributed until Spring so that we can collect all of the wonderful memories throughout the school year and make sure they are a part of your Yearbook!!

100 Mile Club will be Tuesdays & Thursdays – 8:25 – 8:55 am
After the Holiday Break, 100 Mile Club will be Tuesdays ONLY due to weather!! We will update you when we switch back to Tuesdays and Thursday again in the Spring!
