Message from the Principal
Dear Hygiene Elementary Families,
Welcome back to the 2024-2025 school year! It has been an incredible start, and I am thrilled to see our Hygiene community coming together once again. Our Back-to-School Night on Monday was a huge success, filled with laughter, excitement, and the joy of reconnecting with familiar faces. It was wonderful to see so many families, both returning and new, coming together to kick off what promises to be a fantastic year. A big shout out to our PTO who provided popsicles to our students.
A special welcome to our kindergarten students who began their journey with us yesterday. Seeing their eager faces as they embarked on this new adventure was truly heartwarming. We are excited to watch them grow and thrive as part of our HAWK family. Our preschoolers will start on Monday!
I want to share a few important reminders as we wrap up our first week of the school year.
Water Bottles- Please ensure that your child brings a water bottle to school every day. Staying hydrated is essential for their health and learning.
Friday Folders– Every Friday, your child will bring home a Friday Folder in their backpack. This folder contains important information from their teachers and the school. Please take some time to review the contents and return any necessary forms.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. It is going to be a great school year. I am so proud of our HAWKS and all that they have accomplished already.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Renee Collier
Hygiene Principal

Code of Conduct
Dear Hygiene students and families,
Thank you for your partnership and supporting the academic growth, safety, and well-being of our students. Every year, St. Vrain Valley Schools prints an up-to-date version of the Code of Conduct for students and families to review. This important document guides students and school staff on what expectations for school conduct and the consequences for behaviors that fall outside of those expectations. It is important that families review this information every year and acknowledge their receipt and understanding of this document.
To this end, please click here to access an electronic version of the Code of Conduct for the current school year. After you have reviewed this information, all families must sign an electronic acknowledgement that they have received, read, and understand the information contained, including the Annual Notification to Parents/Guardians; Behavioral Code of Conduct; Rights and Responsibilities of Students and Parents; and Board of Education Policies book. To sign your electronic acknowledgement, please follow the steps described here.
Again, thank you for your continued partnership and support. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly at 720-652-8021.
Sincerely,
Renee Collier
Atentamente,
Renee Collier

Leadership St. Vrain
Leadership St. Vrain is a program designed to provide parents and other community members the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of our district’s mission, operations and strategic priorities. The program is especially beneficial for those who want to obtain a foundation in district operations and governance and become more active participants in St. Vrain Valley Schools.
Depending on the size of the applicant pool, all applicants may not be accepted into this year’s program. However, every effort will be made to ensure that every parent is provided an opportunity to become engaged in their school or district in some way.
If you want to learn more about our school district, meet a wide variety of district officials, share information with your school community and get to know engaged parents from schools across the district, we hope you consider applying for Leadership St. Vrain. It’s a serious commitment of time, but we believe it’s an invaluable learning opportunity.
If you are interested in becoming a part of Leadership St. Vrain, please go to the svvsd.org website and search on Leadership St. Vrain. Here you will find the dates for the meetings as well as the application!! Thank you for your support and interest in Leadership St. Vrain.
