Hello! I am thrilled to be joining the incredible Hygiene team this year. I am originally from southern California, just outside of Pasadena (where The Big Bang Theory is set and the Rose Bowl is played!). I moved to Colorado in 2010 to attend CU Boulder, where I earned my collegiate letter in Cheer, was president of the Gymnastics Club, co-captain of the Mock Trial Club, and graduated with a BA in Political Science and English.

I went on to earn a Postbaccalaureate in Elementary Education from CU, taking my first teaching job as a K-2 Science Specials teacher. Then I moved to 5th grade and that was that! This year is my tenth year in the classroom, and my ninth in 5th grade. 5th grade ROCKS! I also have a Masters in Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas, earned in 2021.

I live in Longmont with my husband, Brennen and year and a half old son, Everett. We have a ginormous dog named Bauer and an itty bitty kitty named Gypsy. In the fall, you can find us tailgating and attending the CU football games. In summer, we will be out hiking, at playgrounds, or paddleboarding. When things get cooler, I love to read, crochet, quilt, and catch up with friends and family. I also love photography and own my own business, which keeps me busy outside the classroom!
