Message from the Principal
Hello Hygiene Families,
As the Principal of Hygiene Elementary, I am honored and deeply touched by the incredible success of our recent Jogathon. It is with immense gratitude that I write to express my heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support.
The Jogathon was nothing short of spectacular. It was a beautiful demonstration of our community’s dedication. Together, we raised an astonishing $35,800, a testament to the generosity and commitment that define our community. This substantial contribution will have a profound impact on our school, providing resources to our teachers and staff. It enables us to enhance our school and nurture an environment where our children can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
In addition to the Jogathon success, I wanted to share some other important updates. We recently had a fantastic week of parent-teacher conferences. It was a valuable opportunity for our dedicated staff to connect with parents and guardians, discussing the progress and goals of our students. These conferences strengthen the partnership between our school and families, and we look forward to continuing this dialogue throughout the year.
I also wanted to inform you about an upcoming event. The Superintendent’s Town Hall meeting is scheduled for October 9th at 5:30 pm at Silvercreek. Your presence and engagement are essential as we strive to make informed decisions that benefit our community.
Lastly, I want to take a moment to acknowledge Officer Ken, who has been an integral part of our school community for many years. It is with mixed emotions that we share the news of his upcoming retirement in November. Officer Ken has played a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students and staff. His dedication and commitment have left an indelible mark on our school, and he will be greatly missed. We plan to celebrate his retirement with a special event on October 19 with the students to honor his service.
Once again, thank you, Hygiene Community, for your unwavering support and dedication to the success of Hygiene Elementary. Together, we continue to make a difference in the lives of our students, fostering an environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.
See you all tonight at the Fall Fest
Renee Collier
