Estimada comunidad dedicada a la higiene:

I hope this newsletter finds you well. As we dive into the month of February, I want to take a moment to reflect on the successes of our past events and share some exciting news for the upcoming weeks.

Firstly, let’s celebrate the success of our STEAM Fair last week. We had amazing engagement from our students! It was an extraordinary event that showcased the incredible problem solving skills. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to make it a memorable experience for everyone involved. Your support truly makes a difference in our school community.

February has been a busy month so far, with our dedicated teachers wrapping up parent-teacher conferences this week. These conferences provide valuable insights into your child’s academic progress, and we appreciate the collaborative effort between parents and teachers to ensure our students’ success. In addition, the Book Fair is always a big hit for everyone!

On behalf of the entire staff at Hygiene, we want to thank our INCREDIBLE PTO for the meals that they provided all of us! We are so fortunate to have you as part of Hygiene.

Although the month of February is short, it is definitely MIGHTY! Next week, our students will celebrate Valentine’s Day in the classrooms on Wednesday. Teachers will be sending out classroom party information in today’s communication. On Thursday, February 15, we will celebrate Carnivale as a school. All students have created masks and we will have an All School Parade that begins at 3:00 pm. For parents who want to attend, please be outside in the backfield at 3:00 pm. This will be similar to the Halloween Parade.

Looking ahead, mark your calendars for our upcoming Arts Night on February 22. This promises to be a wonderful evening filled with artistic expressions from our talented students in art and music.. We encourage all parents to join us in celebrating our Hawks amazing talents.

Exciting news on the horizon – Hawk Air Ecuador 2024 is only 82 days away! This epic 14 year school-wide capstone event is a testament to the collaborative spirit of our community. None of this would be possible without the amazing support of our parents. In advance, we are immensely grateful for your involvement.

We have a planning meeting scheduled for February 22 at 8:00 am. We are actively seeking parent volunteers who are eager to contribute their time and ideas to make this experience unforgettable for our students. Your participation is crucial in making this event special. If you are unable to join us, feel free to reach out to me directly.

Finally, Hygiene Elementary School is undergoing an exciting update to the design of our school hallways. The murals, which were painted over 30 years ago, will be replaced with modern branding similar to what you will find in other schools across the district.

The goal is to enhance our school environment and reflect the spirit and identity of our community. Your support is highly valued as we work on this exciting project. Stay tuned for more updates and details on this refreshing transformation of our school building

Ewallet is a fantastic way to allow your student to shop without them having to carry cash. Plus, anyone can add funds to your student’s ewallet, like family members that live out of town.

We will be sending home photo envelopes in Friday Folders in the next couple of weeks!!

Below is the information that you will need to order your Spring Individual and/or Class Photos. It will also be on the envelopes!!

Please be sure your student brings their envelope with them to the photographer!

If you are buying your photos online, please indicate that on the photo envelope that your student provides to the photographer!!
