Last Day of School – May 21st and Important Detailed Information for families: The last day of school is 3 weeks away. Here are some important details about the last day:

  • We will start the day with Games Day for K-5th grade in the back field.  This event will go from 9:30-11:00 am.  Families are welcome to attend.
  • At 11:00 am, students will relax with their class in the shade and have a popsicle provided by our PTO to cool down.
  • At 11:30 am, all students will come into the building one final time to be with their teachers and have a final classroom closure before ending the year. This should only be time with your students.
  •  At 12:00 pm, our All School Picnic will begin in the south side Hug n Go area.  All classroom teachers will escort their students outside for a final picnic that includes family and friends. Teachers, you are responsible for making sure that students are safe and eating with the class or families if they choose to come.   Sack lunches will be provided for the students.  Families are free to set up a picnic spot when dropping off their child.  We will also have Kona Ice here for purchase.
  • We will stay out there for approximately one hour.  All students who leave the school must be checked out by the classroom teacher.
  • Those students who stay for the day can come back into the building with the classroom teacher.
  • It should be a great way to start our summer.  After the picnic, parents are welcome to take their child home after communicating with the teacher.
  • Any student who goes home with another student must have prior written permission.
