Dear Hygiene Community,
As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for our incredible Hygiene Elementary family. I feel truly blessed to work with such dedicated students, supportive families, and a passionate staff committed to fostering a love of learning.
This holiday season is a wonderful opportunity to emphasize the importance of all of us coming together! This includes our Thanksgiving MyOn Challenge, which encourages students to dive into their favorite books over the break! This is a fun way to nurture a lifelong love of reading and keep young minds active while away from school. Students now have access to SORA!
I also want to share that our Canned Food Drive has officially kicked off. This annual tradition is a meaningful way for our students to make a difference by giving back to those in need. Thank you in advance for your generous contributions that will help brighten the holiday season for families in our area. A big shout out to our student council for their leadership!
As we look ahead, December will be a month full of excitement for our Hawks! Here are some important dates as we look ahead:
Open Enrollment begins Friday, December 1st, for the 2025–2026 school year. This also includes incoming kindergarteners! Please spread the word to friends and neighbors who may be considering joining our school community!
- Arts Night will take place on Tuesday, December 12th, showcasing the incredible creativity and talent of our students for PreK-2nd grade. We hope you can join us for an evening of celebration and community. In addition, Preschool Registration begins on December 17. There is more information in the newsletter to assist everyone in the process.
Thank you for your unwavering support and for making Hygiene Elementary such a special place. I wish you all a joyful Thanksgiving!
Take Care,
Renee Collier

Lost and Found
Our lost and found is getting big and before you know it, the first snowfall will be here. Please come take a look in the cafeteria for missing coats, sweatshirts, water bottles etc…. We will be donating all these items to the Our Center over Thanksgiving break.
