I received my BA in Art Education with an emphasis in Painting, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. I hold a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, focusing on integrating the arts across the curriculum. I have been part of the Hygiene teaching staff since 2005.

All Hygiene students can expect to use a wide variety of fun art materials to learn about the various elements of art and principles of design. Using care with craftsmanship and taking responsibility for artistic choices are encouraged. Other topics addressed include understanding reasons for making art, art history, making art meaningful, and communication through art.
