Hello, friends! I'm Ms. Summer (Irvin) and I'm excited to embark on my second year at Hygiene Elementary! I've lived in many places, including Japan, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and California. I have a degree in English from Indiana University and a degree in Higher Education from Penn State University. I have worked with students from preschool through college and especially love elementary school kids!
When I'm not at school, I'm usually biking, hiking, or camping with my family; I have two daughters - one in middle school and one in high school. I also enjoy playing and coaching ultimate frisbee! I've greatly enjoyed my time at Hygiene Elementary School so far, and look forward to getting to know more members of this great community.
