Robotics Champs!

A Gigantic Congratulations to our Hygiene Robotics Teams for their impressive performance last Saturday at Westview Middle School.  We had four teams compete in the tournament among all of the elementary school robotics teams.  The Radical Robots team, Erik Yoho, Greer Ransweiler, Piper Morison, and Wyatt Tate-Maccoy, won 1st place in the tournament and qualified to compete at the State Tournament.  And, our Triforce Team, Emory Klish, Teddy Shykula, and Nicklaus Erdman, was close behind in 2nd place!  All of the students participating in this event did a phenominal job.  They started in September building their robots and learning to program them.  They received a Judges award in December. And last weekend they showed what it means to SOAR!

A very special thank you and congratulations to our amazing coaches for all their work:  Izzy Maccoy, Lisa Shykula, Malcolm Morrison, and Dwayne Jones.  Also, thank you to JR Kerbel and Jo Keller for their work with the Non-Competitive teams, and to Veronica Vigil for coordinating all of this.

Robotics begins each year in the fall.  If you are interested, information will come home with the students in early September.
